You know, I'm not am Omega hater. I use TS and it's more than adequate for what
I do for a living. I haven't had a bad time with their tech people or their
sales people. I even recommend their product to younger traders that ask my
advice.

But this policy of spending all of their resources on a TS 5.0 Beta BEFORE they
will even finish a year 2000 patch for my existing product just gets me angry.
And it makes me feel like they have me held hostage [which scares the crap out
of me]. I just want the product I have fixed and year 2000 compliant. Then they
can research and do anything they want.

Personally, I couldn't even begin to consider purchasing anything, at any price
UNTIL I have a year 2000 patch in place, working in my existing version of
TradeStation. I like neat new bars and colors just like everyone else. But the
most important thing to me is a version of what I have that works and will
continue to work. Period.
