As the subject says this is NOT-trading related - be warned !
I just started with W95 (dont laugh) on a new pc after 20 years of WfW 3.11 :-))
Im happy with NS browser and PEGASUS for mail - Im not happy with this
DIALER winsocket - its useless
On my old machine I clicked SEND AND CHECK MAIL icon in PEGASUS and
it dialed out automaticly + immedeately and collected mail and hang up after
(self-configured) 3 minutes, but gave an advance warning for 30 seconds and
you had the choice to click to stay on and answer quickly a few mails or hit the
CANCEL
here in W95 - I have to click a DIAL BUTTON after the PEGASUS ICON - so
double the work (ofcourse I want to DIAL OUT when I want to check for mail)
and it hangs up after (SELF-configured) 3 minutes - AFTER it hang up it asks
you whether you want to be reconnected - TOO LATE b.s. !! any better idea out
there ?
