Looking into an ela file

Folks:

I'll bet there's an easy way to do this, but I don't know how to do it. If
someone sends me an ela named, for example, Easy.ela, is there a way to 'look'
inside the ela file and see what indicators, systems, paintbars, etc. it
contains before I transfer it into my TS file area? 

I ask because sometimes someone will post an interesting looking file and if I
just transfer it in, I don't know all of the components that I just transfered
in.

Help please?
