Build 21 Symbol Universe

Like a fool, I updated the symbol universe when I installed Build 21.
Two problems I noticed immediately -- the Martin Luther King, Jr.
holiday was not included in the Holiday Setup in this update, so I had
to follow the instructions on the web site to re-add it. I think I got
these instructions from the "Bulletins" section of the website.

The bigger problem was with an index I follow -- the NYSE composite, on
which the symbol universe mysteriously changed the Min Move parameter in
the symbol universe to 125. The problem immediately presented itself
with wierd looking data and signals that had been there before but were
missing after the update, but the solution was not as obvious. Despite
the fact that I changed the parameter in the universe to the correct
value of 1, the symbol in my portfolio did not automatically update.
You'd think it would, but it didn't. To work around the problem, I had
to delete the symbol and re-add it to the portfolio after making the
correction.

A NOTE OF CAUTION from one who's learned from past mistakes. Copy out
the symbol data BEFORE deleting the symbol from your portfolio. Then
delete and re-add the symbol to the portfolio. Once the symbol has been
re-added to your portfolio, check to be sure that the updated parameter
is what you expected it to be, then copy the data back in. Otherwise,
deleting the symbol will also delete the data you have so painstakingly
collected all these months or years or whatever.

Hope this note of caution helps the unsuspecting. I have learned my
lesson, and probably will never update my symbol universe again. I'd
also recommend that if others are installing new releases, that they do
so over a weekend, even though tech support from Omega is not
available. At least you'll know what your problems are going into the
trading day on Monday, rather than staying up all night trying to figure
them out. If you have unresolved problems, make a list of them and try
to make contact with Omega before the following Monday's market open.
