Condonation of =what= conduct?? That he told the truth? This
sounds like a desparate act taken by a company on the
"brink". You have nothing to offer your customers at this
time and a lot of them are frustrated as a result. So,
rather than take constructive steps to ameliorate the
situation, you "fire" a Solution Provider that makes a few
noises you don't like. Unfortunately, I think most people
here will see this for what it is; a thinly veiled attempt
to conceal your inability to cope with your own problems.
You, yourself, have made statements that misrepresent the
truth on this very LIST. Specifically, you stated that the
Y2K patch for TS 4.0 would be available early in the second
quarter. If the patch is not available at that time, will
you be "terminated"? As an Omega customer should I condone
an outright lie by an Omega employee? Further, you stated
that TS 5.0 was in Beta when, in fact, a Beta for one of the
most popular datafeeds (BMI) is not yet available. What
recourse do we, as customers, have for your
misrepresentations? Shouldn't you resign your position? I
mean, I don't "condone your "conduct".
If you think that terminating Mark Brown's status will quell
the concerns of customers over the issues stated here, boy
have you got another thing coming. If anything, you've only
made things worse with this clearly baseless retaliatory
action.
Best regards,
Jim
