I CANT see a reason WHY that was NOT posted 4 - 8 weeks earlier -

Is the stock so much under water that they finally had to come to
rescue

Hans...I think the answer lies in the fact that the DayTrader Pro
discussion thread didn't appear until recently (which, BTW, was NOT a 3
stooges vendor product post ala Mark Jurik's prior comment). Compare the
posts between the DayTrader Pro and TS 5.0 features lists...notice the
similarity!!! Coincidence? Not likely.

Corporate planning consists of 3 things...MARKET SHARE, MARKET SHARE, and
MARKET SHARE. I guess DayTrader Pro poses enough of a threat for future
lost TS 5.0 sales and upgrades that Omega had to respond now. And Pierre
is wrong...PowerTrader and DayTrader Pro are not even comparable...Windows
on Wall St., who markets DayTrader / DT Pro, has over 4,000 retail outlets
for its products, PowerTrader has none that I know. These reasons, among
others, probably has Omega concerned. And maybe that will translate into a
better TS 5.0 product. We'll see...

You're right, though...STOCK PRICE (and MARKET SHARE) speak volumes now at
Omega, and, they appear to be listening??? Again, we'll see...
