Earl, I was interested in your comments on date formats and suspect that a
patch for Omega software will not pose a significant problem.
I run an option simulation program from www.bayoptions.com which has no
problem loading ascii data through Y2K in the Volatilities module. It can
also handle Metastock format without problem. The legend on the X axis runs:
98,99,0,1,2,3 etc.
The Option Simulator module records an expiry in the year 2000 as 100. i.e.
expiry on Dec17-99 is followed by Jan21-100.
Even the Equis program can't read Metastock data through Y2K.<g>
BTW are you as annoyed a I am that the Omega software cannot record intraday
data for the second session on a Friday?
