An acquaintance of mine spoke to a sales person at omega,and was told
the following (not verbatim)
If a person buys a copy of ts from other than omega/authorized reseller,
omega will Not support it,Nor will the buyer be able to upgrade at a
discounted price.
TS ver 5 is 6 to 8 months away from release,also,a prospective customer
would be dollars ahead by purchasing ver 4 now,for $2400usd,and
upgrading later to ver 5 at $500usd,than waiting till the release of ver
5.--When the sales person was asked,"does this mean that ts ver 5 will
cost more than $2900usc,he replied "yes".
Re: YR 2000 fix,this sales person said rather than just a patch,there
would be a downloadable new version of ts 4.
