Maybe we should replace those oft-quoted comments with more 
constructive ones.  Here are three of my suggestions.

"In order to make money trading, you have to do what nobody else is 
willing to do.  Anybody with $1,000 can buy a fast computer and some 
software, but hardly anyone will come up with a proven plan and stay 
with it."

"Trading the way 95% of traders do it  =  Gambling"

"I've tested a lot of systems...but you know what?  They ALL work, 
even the bogus ones...SOMETIMES.  The only problem is that you never 
know when that's going to be."
