You don't need to worry about Jose's credibility. Calling Reuters
won't get you anything and neither will calling Equis support. You
need to wait and see what happens. Equis keeps a tight lid on letting
out information, so why would they tell you.
If Jose tells you his source, then he won't have a source anymore.
Jose is simply giving you a heads up, so he doesn't need to prove or
subject what he is saying to anyone's scrutiny.
If this does happen, it's not going to be a problem for many people.
Let's hope if they do release either a maintenance version or a major
update they fix some of the bugs and problems that they've known about
for the last three years. At least that would be progress.
Try focusing on the bigger picture here. At least Equis is doing
something. We'll all have to wait and see if we get any benefit out of
it.
