Hi Hayseed,
I use meta8 and typing the name of a different stock in a diff folder
actually opens up the window corresponding to the `change security'
button. Invariably, it doesn't find it. I have a feeling that it may
not be something added from meta9 and there may exist some option to
do what you get, it's related to the search path of the stocks. Let me
check out if I could find any.
