Two alternative ways, neither perfect:
1. Create a list in a notepad file (e.g., by a copy and paste from a website
list e.g. S&P500) and then save as a .sym file, following the procedure for
custom securities lists in the downloader manual. Then create a favorites
list form it. Its fast but means you are duplicating downloading, so slows
your update time.
2. TradeSim has a "FilterSecurity" function that works within Explorer to
create lists from your local securities files. I presume its available as
part of the trial version.

hey c.... 1 slightly faster method would be to use the control
key 'ctrl'..... by holding it, 'ctrl', down you can select many
symbols then do the right click, save to favorites ....
your setup might be different than mine, but symbols can be chosen
from the local data folder or esignal folder .... seperating my
favorites folder into seperate folders seems to help me keep some
sort of order.....h
