Another improvement is the sorting of stock symbols into sectors and
industries. So if you like top down analysis you can sort the industries by
Relative Strength and then drill down into the underlying stocks. To do this
before you had to create your own industry groups in favorites corresponding
to existing sector indices (e.g. Dow Jones). If you've already set up such
list (as I had) it doesn't help much (particularly as they left out several
industries from the indices list) but if you're starting from scratch it can
save many hours.

Don't lose your money....Metastock 9 doesn't bring any
ehancements..excepting a chat community and the integration of Dynamic tools
plugin, bugs are still here, language has no functions added.....
Better wait for Metastock 10....considering that maybe for number 10, Equis
would really improve Metastock....

Hi,
I was thinking about upgrading from Metastock 8.01 to Metastock 9
and I was after peoples feedback on what they thought of the new
version and whether in your opinion it is worth upgrading. Is there
a great difference in functionality?
I am particularly interested in finding out whether systems written
in 8.01 will work in 9.0.
Any feeback would be much appreciated.
