Jeff, all I can tell you is that this code:
d:=If(C>Ref(HHV(H,3),-1),LLV(L,3),
If(C<Ref(LLV(L,3),-1),HHV(H,3),PREV));
a:=Cross(C,d);
b:=Cross(d,C);
a+-b
... does this on my charts:
If the Close is greater than the highest High for the previous
three days, it plots the lowest Low of the past three days (including
today), otherwise it plots the following:
If the Close is less than the lowest Low for the previous three
days, it plots the highest High of the past three days (including
today), otherwise it plots the previous formula value.
