I agree, and if
MetaStock formula language would recognise the fact that you do not want to plot
anything when "IN A TRADE" = 0 it would be fine. Unfortunately, MS formula
language appears to assume if you do not have an indicator ON you must want it
OFF, i.e. you want to plot it as zero. The resulting plot on any chart is
neither very pretty nor very legible due to scale
distortion.

I think what I am
really looking for (as Roy explained in a separate post) is a switching
function; at this stage I think it is another one for the MetaStcok
wishlist.
