Hi guys.
I hope you could give a hand to a beginner in version 8.
I just installed meta 8.0 and am still struggling with importing the
tests I had in meta 7.2. The installation process asked if I wanted
to import the previous stuff, and obviously I accepted it. All the
indicators showed up as they should, but my tests are nowhere to be
seen. Than I tried to simply create a folder and import into it all
my tests and indicators again. Than I imported them to meta 8.0 but
still... they are not there.
Also, I manually inserted one of the tests I use regularly by writing
it into the new version and am really confused about the way that the
results do not seem to be correct (the entry and exit points are not
where they should be!). Plus... to add to all my miseries, the
system tester seems to be extremely user unfriendly, I really liked
the way that one could run a test on 7.2 and simply get the results
shown in a obvious manner both on the chart, on the equity window and
on the reports window.
Any hints....? I am getting reallllllly disappointed here...
