I think what is happening is that a number of longer lines may have been
"wrapped" by your email program. This will increase the number of
new-line/paragraph characters in the text, thus pushing it above the 2499
character limit. If you move each indicator to a word processor and remove
these additional end-of-line characters you'll find that everything fits OK.
It worked for me when I tried that.
