I have had this problem and then the system tester crashed as well. I did
get some good responses from support that fixed the problem though.
I suspect that you also can sometimes not discard because you get the
following error?
"A fatal error occurred attempting to discard a result"
Description:
Code = 80004005
Code meaning = Unspecified error
Source = Microsoft JET Database Engine
Description = File sharing lock count exceeded. Increase MaxLocksPerFile
registry entry.
Build: 8.0

If so, let me know and I will tell you how to fix your problems.
The bottom line though is that you need to constantly clean the results.
Also you should probably run most of your tests with the "Quick test only"
box checked. This does not save most of the data. You will get results,
but not the trade by trade data. Works fine for me. Then when I get done
with what I am doing I may run one more run with the box unchecked. Also
usually I export the results to Excel and save them there.
