Hi Andre:
Those only give you wriggly lines. True linear regression is a straight line. The Linear Regression Indicator gives you a true straight line, but plots only one point. The Linear Regression Slope tells you the direction of the line, but only where it intersects that one point. In my opinion, these indicators are far more accurate in determining whether plots on a chart are rising or falling than say a moving average. The only problem left to solve is up to the user. What quantity of time periods constitutes direction?
