Within Windows XP under Accessories there is a Program Compatibility Wizard which, if you are having problems running an older Windows program under Win XP, will adjust some parmeters to make it run "correctly." Have done that with a couple of rather ordinary programs, but not really complex ones. I don't see why it shouldn't work.
