[Metastockusers] Formulas wanted

Try as I may I can not correctly write the formulae 
for the following 2 indicators
 
1) Sigma Bands also known as the HURST 
bands
 
2) I am trying to write an indicator that will show 
me when a
      volume spike 
(indicator) has occurred

 
a) I am trying to find companies that have had 
a sudden rise in volume of
     say 50%
 
b) Trying to do a sweep of my data to find 
them
 
3) Any suggestions where I can look for other 
formulas on the internet
