If there is a method to do so, it should only be with a loop, which I
am not aware of, becoz I still am using my trusty 6.52 ver. :-)
Maybe a DLL could be written to store present values and THEN apply
the math to a PAST value.
I'm lost in this issue as my programming skills are very rudimentary.
And as far as the 500 per EMA you mentioned, obviously, when there is
enough data on the 501st tick, then only would a value be plotted.
However, when you plot a recursive moving trendline, where the values
are skewed at the beginning of the plot, you would get all sorts of
funny values, until DOUBLE the evaluation period, which "filters" out
initial evaluation period.
Hope I have clarified myself.
