Martin,
What are the "death cross" and the "golden
cross"?
Thanks!

Freddie
The problem with moving crossovers is probably
the same as with other systems. That is simply whipsaws. Probably better to
look for the death cross or golden cross before taking a signal.
They test well and you can find what works
best for individual stocks. 20/50 was one I tested with the DOW and Nasdaq
but like I said I would use some sort of overlay such as
volume.
I haven't yet found the LEEP but I appreciate
your efforts.
Yes you are right he can change the E to
S.
The options thing is interesting. Sort of like
trading small cap stocks. As example a call on CAT is 3.50 and up 40%
yesterday. CATEJ.X

Martin,Are you using the moving average crossing of 20
and 50 in your real trade to determine your buy/sell signals. How
successful are these signals helping your trade? Adrain is looking for
simple MA, I suppose he is aware that he needs to substitute E for S in
your formula.Btw, did you manage to get 4 years LEAPS contract that
will allow you to buy into 2006, I check around, at most is 2
years.Best RegardsFreddie NgAt 08:42 PM 4/22/2003
