received an upgrade CD from Equis marked "Version 8.01S"

I have
Version 8.0 Pro and the more basic Version 8.0 EOD.

Does
anyone know if this same CD is used to update either or both of these
versions? I'd rather not try to upgrade without some
advice.

I did
start the upgrade is seemed that it was going to uninstall and install
again. Is that the typical way this upgrade works?

There
was no documentation with the CD. It just showed up in my
mail.
