Hello MetaS Lovers,
I've seen several posts about other indicators that esignal and
Reuters fail to supply. I finally found most of them and after a few
days of using the service, it's good. (By the way, this is not spam.
I don't have anything to do with the service. I just like it, and it
works flawlessly with metastock!)
If you use a variety of judgement indicators like put/call ratios,
sentiment indicators, Short sales public, floor traders, specialists
etc. this beats writing them down by hand and using excel to keep
track.
Go to www.maridome.com scroll down the page to the bottom. On the
left side click on market advisors and you can read the list of info,
indexes and economic data that comes to you in metastock format. I
used to record it daily out of the WSJ and Barron's--what a pain.
Some of the sentiment indexes are excellent trend indicators. Plot
them against the SPY.
Also, I've found Pring's KST indicator formulas that are spread all
over the web to give different results from the KST plots on his
website. Go to www.pring.com Log in. Select weekly KST. Put in a
symbol and print the graph with the three KSTs in it. When you use
the formulas given by equis, et al the intermediate and long term
KST's fail to match Pring's. Anybody know what's up.
