I don't quite understand the last reply. I only trust moving average
crossovers. The most basic is 70 dma over 3 dma. I sometimes use a couple of
different models for the same stock. The downside is always going to be
whipsaws eating up profit. After reviewing a couple of different scenarios
see if waiting a couple of days before entering a position would have
helped. I would look out for equity lines that aren't smooth. After you find
one you like for the QQQ see how it looks on a minute chart. Also factor in
possible exit strategies such as locking in 10% or 20% gains.
