I always wondered where the orders generated from various trading
stations go to. in other words, how one can transform these orders
into real market transactions? The platforms I usually come across
are either "islands entire in themselves", representing completely
isolated and limited systems, where trading orders are executed
inside or just some kind of demo versions with absolutely no
destination for generated orders. The only system that I found that
contains some kind of a follow-on structure to the trading platform
is the dukascopy site at http://next.dukascopy.com Over there they
give a link to Order Delivery System that, as I understand, is
destined to deliver orders generated within their deal station to
financial organizations for execution. This structure corresponds to
my idea of what a fully-fledged trading system should look like.
Before recommending Order Delivery System to my personal banker I
would like to hear some independent advice and assessment of the
system from the third parties. I am also interested in other similar
two-level trading systems.
