The problem is that I don't want the diffence (which will just be a meandering line), I want the difference of the 13 EMA minus the difference of the 13 EMA and 5 EMA.
Illustration:
My 13 day EMA - (13 day EMA - 5 day EMA)
So first I need to get the difference of the 13 and 5 day EMAs, then subtract that amount from the 13 day EMA.
This reminds me of when I try to talk to Germans in german. It doesn't go to smooth! :)
