I checked ADX in Metastock 7.22 versus AmiBroker and
they are the same except that Metastock rounds to a whole number. Is this
what you mean by "different." If so, then you will need to create a custom
indicator. If you want to see a difference, look at ADX in
QuoteTracker. It is off by a factor of 2 and they refuse to correct their
programming.

Gary,One way out would be to compute the ADX in
aspreadhseet and verify both for accuracy. Though Ihavent done that I
have compared the ADX computationin MS with another program I use and it

checked with that. Once again theMS value was different while the other
two tallied. Itis obvious that as usual the MS formula for ADX
