Oh I'm a big believer in simplicity. Your technique sounds fine for
you. But I use Wyckoff methodology. So when price approaches
previous resistance I'm looking to compare the price bar spreads,
volumes, closes, ROC, and retracement levels, to previous action at
that particular point. That point may be several days ago. Believe
me, I've tried doing this using QT along w/a separate longer-term
intraday chart and it's awkward as hell.
I'm paying $35 monthly for Reuters EOD. For about $65 more I can get
RT. No big diff.
