Yes,
in fact, I plugged in an Opt1 variable for a range of percentages under 1% (.2%
to .5%) on several different tests and it ran just fine (on the ES). This
may seem like a silly question but you do have the "percent" button selected,
right? Perhaps you can try using an Opt variable with a range to see if it
works that way (although it certainly should work the other way as
well).

[Metastockusers] Stop %I trade in the emini futures
and have used a maximum stop of less than 1% in my testing, at least in
vs. 7.21 and prior. In 8.0 when I enter the stop as less than 1%,
say 0.70%, I check back and find it has reverted to 1.00%???What
goes?Anyone able to get a stop % that is less than
1%?Thanks,BobTo
