I was at a seminar over the weekend, many of whom were Metastock users. One
guy said he was sorry he upgraded. Another said that after what he heard he
wasn't going to upgrade. The major complaint I heard was that we (unless
we're missing something) lost ability to delay trades by one day in system
tester. The button that gave you that option is gone. People are having to
rewrite their code to make their systems trade the next day. I was also
very disappointed to see that you couldn't optimize the canned stops. They
say you can do that in the intraday ("Professional") version but I test and
trade end of day and shouldn't have to buy an intraday version to get that
option if I don't trade intraday. Also, I may have to do a little more
looking but I haven't seen a way to load a groups of stocks at once into the
system tester. I tried to swipe or highlight several stocks but could only
load them one at a time. I can't believe that Equis would leave out that
ability....I must be missing something.
