Hi,
Metastock 8.0 seems to be very interesting
(<SPAN

etc...).

But while
launching the System Tester in order to back-test
hundreds of systems against thousands of securities (all at once !),
does Metastock 8 allows you to optimize, at the same time, the
variables (ie ; Moving average length) of your trading systems
?

Are the
number of tests still limited to a maximum of 32,000
?

I learned painfully with
previous versions that it was necessary to use the organizer to export all
indicators, explorations and systems to a temporary folder: After the new
installation was complete, to use the organizer to import these items.
When a window comes up that asks if you want to overwrite, click on
YES.

don't have MS 8.0 so I wouldn't really know, but, this issue used to
comeup with every upgrade AFAIR.To make matters worse I hear there are
serious differences in MS 8.0Metastock Formula Language so, worst case
scenario, you won't be able to useyour old formulas (including EA) unless
you re-write them so they
