You only need to make sure MSK v7.02 does not access your Virtual files. Use
v6.52 as you normally would with the Virtual folders. DO NOT use v7.02 to
access your Virtual files. If you do, you will not get any data and you will
have to rewrite/Save your Virtual folders using QP's Virtual Setup program.
Also, if you access QP's MSK output files using v6.52, then access the same
files using v7.02, you will not be able to access them again using v6.52. Every
MSK output (ticker) file has a corresponding MSK Smart file in a sub folder
below where the actual MSK output (ticker) file is located. Every time you
access a MSK output (ticker) file, both v6.52 & v7.02 create/rewrite its
corresponding Smart file. V7.02 rewrites your MSK Smart file in a "later"
format and v6.52 will give you an error message when it attempts to open it.
(LOL)
What this means is you will be forced to maintain 2 separate databases, one for
v6.52 and one for v7.02. Hence, even more grounds for me NOT to use v7.02.
