Doc,

Thanks for your response. No one doubts (well, at least I don't) that Equis
is dedicated to fixing bugs in each new versions of MetaStock. But, first,
I'd like to remind you that if your analytical software is not functioning,
as they say in Detroit: "You ain't trading BABY!" (with apologies to Dick
Vitale). And when you can't analyze the markets, you can't share your
trading ideas. So what's left? You bitch until someone actually answers.
If the problem gets fixed, you can go back to posting trading ideas. If the
problem doesn't get fixed and you get the impression that you are being
"ignored", you bitch louder.

You are totally correct in assuming that the MetaStock list represents an
exceptional group of individuals. I'm glad Equis recognizes this. I'm sure
the group understands the complexities of the upgrading process and
understands that you must target your solutions for the "fat part" of your
customer bell distribution curve. The real issues were the bugs, cost of
the upgrade to fix them, and the cost of additional upgrades to fix
additional bugs.

As Customer Service manager, I would be pretty insulted by a post that
mentions MetaStock/Equis in the same sentence as TradeStation when it comes
to customer service. I hope this chapter is over and we can start posting
trading ideas again. If everything gets "fixed", I bet there won't be any
more negative posts (of course, with the exception of the printer problems
in 6.52). Doc, stop by and post again soon. Don't be a stranger. We all
want this to work. Do what's fair and be straight with us...that's all we
ask.
