It is strange that CMA's upgrade cost would be $115 instead of $59. I think if he
called Equis and noted the discrepancy, Equis would sell it to him for $59.
There's no point in upgrading to MS v7.01 anyway. From what I've read in this
group, it has a number of bugs that will be addressed in v7.02. The labor
involved in uninstalling v7.01 and then reinstalling v7.02 is not worth it. I
don't know about the rest of you, but I've grown a bit tired of this game. I'd
rather simply wait for a bug-free package. The entire software industry has been
around for many years and there's no excuss for forcing users to use bug-prone
software. I no longer want to deal with bugs. I want to use my computer what it
was intended for. Namely: to make me rich. ;^) I called Equis about this and
they said they would extend the offer if v7.02 came out after June 30. You should
call Equis and make sure they will extend the offer for you too.
As long as MS v7.02 is fully compatible with QP v2.1 or v2.2, I'll be happy. I
don't expect to have any problems using the two packages together. BTW, I have
not upgraded to QP v2.2 for the same reason. There are (or were) numerous bugs in
the new QP v2.2 package. From what I've read in that group, Quotes-Plus is
dealing with the bugs with each new v2.2 build. In a few months the bugs should
be all gone.
