RE: Neural Nets

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

Has anyone on the list had any experience with the "VantagePoint" system,
which supposedly does intermarket neural net computations to give signals
for a trend continuing or losing momentum ahead of a reversal, & gives
projected trading ranges for the day ahead? They have an interview of
Mendelsohn by Murphy, which I haven't seen yet, but suggests authentication.
And I was referred to an individual, that I spoke to, who claimed to have
made $75,000 in his 1st year of using the bond module, stating that he was
not being paid by the company to endorse it (and although he seemed candid
enough, I still felt a little skeptical). They offer a demo screen with a
password, so if it doesn't work right from this link, it may be due to some
password protected feature; but if anyone does take a look at it, I'd be
interested in the list's comments.
http://www.profittaker.com/VantagePointdemo.htm The price, ironically
enough given the Jurik satire, is $3,000 per module.

Ross:
Mark Jurik is right on in his Snake Oil comments.
To paraphrase his remarks, "If you had a goose that laid golden eggs, would
you sell it?"
