At work we (still and unfortunatly) have the IE4.01 and Win-NT4 running on roughly
50,000 workstations and some 10,000 laptops.
This combination, the "4" version, though old hat, doesn't give us the leastest of problems.
It's the mainly the (incompetent) users and the (added) third party programs that
are effecting their stability.
(Will not mention here that our Co., ww does the servicing of over 12,500.000 workstations +
1,500.000 servers + 500,000 mainframes and 140,000.000 components (Routers,
Hubs etc. alone))
