Re: Bollinger Bands & Formula Monkeys

Hi, jseed.

The basic idea is to buy at the lower, short at the upper. The moving
averages are in the chart, but they're not really related to the B band
system. Heck, there ain't nothin' new, complicated or mind-boggling about
that.

And if it doesn't work for the skeptics, fine, it doesn't work. Who rilly
cares? I don't. Takes all sorts to make a market, as they say. I'm sure not
going to set out to prove that anything works. It's just an idea that's
worked for me. Price-Waterhouse will audit the results, using accepted
accounting practices, when the authorities start requiring that on mail
lists. The lunatic fringe can then go over the results, and move beyond
price, volume and simple moving averages (with a few lessons in arithmetic,
pointing and clicking, reading software manuals, and working quietly, to get
them nicely started).

Brooke
