Some time ago, I called Corel about their Quattro Pro 8. I wanted to upgrade my
Corel Pro Suite 7 because it isn't OLE 2.0 capable (for MetaStock). By the time
their 2000 suite came out, it was too late. I had already decided to buy MS
Office Pro 2000. MS Office is the standard. I can't remember if Corel told me
if their 2000 is OLE 2.0 capable (and it doesn't really matter). Without OLE
2.0, it's essentially worthless. Since, the whole point of getting a
spreadsheet program is using it to connect to MetaStock.
Trying to use Corel 2000 would be a nightmare anyway. Imagine downloading a
spreadsheet, programmed in VBA, and trying to make it work in Quattro Pro 2000.
