Its a legit property your "norm" (Copyright,Trademark,Intillectual Property etc.) and
has been around for many centuries (started somewhere back in 1650 AC).

Copyrights, Trademarks and Intillectual properties also belong to their
rightious owners (f.e. the Software Co.'s+developpers), since they are theirs.

Stocks and options are owner's properties too and these rights too can be
leased/licensed/sold/passed out/on to other induviduals(write an option) and
companies(mortgage/insurances), or via wills passed on to other (public/non public)
relitves/friends/associates and/or otherwise -as a true property- plainly sold on to others.
