Corel's spreadsheet is Quattro Pro, which used to be produced by Borland.
Although I don't use Excel much, I think it's at least as good as Excel.
Quattro Pro is a pretty powerful spreadsheet.
Two downsides. First, it's not the Microsoft industry standard (could be an
upside, I suppose) so there are annoying problems like less-than-perfect
conversion from one format to another, and last I saw it can't create comma
delimited .csv files. Second, I don't think Corel will be in this business
much longer judging by their financial results.
