Re: Printing Problem

I must give credit to Equis, in that they made a big effort in trying
to fix their printing problem. This was always an issue. I guess they
do not have an experienced programmer in that area. Printing problems
have always existed in the windows versions, and fixes issued in minor
releases.

The main issue appears to be in the reluctance of Equis to issue
periodic patches to fix those issue. Almost a fear to admit that there
is a bug. They would rather wait until another major release and hope
for the best.

Programming is very difficult with all the various platforms out
there. It's hard to know when the program will explode, until it's
out.

FWIW, over the last year, I've had over 50 if not more upgrades to a
stock program I use, but it's a community project and the author user
relationship is tense at time, but amicable and understanding. The
bottom line is that the author listens and IMMEDIATELY releases a new
version, albeit sometime creating more bugs.

Of course, when spending $1200 or more, you 'kinda expect the program
to have wasted other people's time and NOT the person who paid $1200!
