was waiting for signal wise.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>There
is now no doubt that the market direction is up.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Today the OEX broke out of its Short
Term Down Trend Channel (STDTC), The NADSD set a new all time high, and I got a
MetaStock Tema StochRSI 13,55 buy signal on the DJI.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>By way of review we now have all the
market indicators I follow in an up trend with the single exception of the RUT
and I expect it will break out next week.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>That means I need to get the $100k Portfolio fully invested.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I did put on the C
position at the market open and finally closed AMZN at 70 ¼ after watching it
until midday.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>That left us with a
little over $45k cash, which is enough for three new positions.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Since the RUT is lagging, I want to go
with all large cap, market leaders.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>I looked for an Internet position and two other high tech leaders.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>After pouring over the charts, I settled
on American Online (AOL), Cisco Systems (CSCO), and Intel Corp (INTC).<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>There isn’t anything complicated here,
I’m only looking for the industry leaders that have just given breakout
signals.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>AOL and INTC both broke
out of a STDTC and CSCO showed great momentum by breaking out of a two month
sideways pattern to an all time new high.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>AOL at 129.4 just
broke out of a four month long CANSLIM-type cup formation and is in a Short Term
Up Trend Channel (STUTC) with the top at 143 ¾ and the bottom at 117 3/8.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It set an all time high of 175 ½ on
4/6/99 before falling to a triple bottom around 80 in August and September.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>From there it rose to break out of its
STDTC in early October and established the current STUTC.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I got a MetaStock Tema PDI-MDI buy
signal in late September.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>AOL also
announced another 2/2 stock split this week.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The fundamentals are typical of an
Internet stock, but the growth is exceptional.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’ll open a position Monday with the
Target at 175 and the stop at 116 ¾.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>CSCO at 74 just broke
out of a two-month sideways pattern to a new all time high.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It is a true momentum stock with short,
intermediate, and long term up trends in effect.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The short term StochRSI just turned
positive and is rising rapidly.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The
longer term StochRSI is still negative, but also rising rapidly.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This should be a good entry
position.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The fundamentals are also
good.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’ll open a position
Monday.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I won’t set a target since
we are in new all time high territory.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>The STUTC doesn’t have enough data to use it for a stop yet, so I’ll set
my initial stop just under the recent low at 64 ¾.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’ll switch to the STUTC for my stop
after another week or two of data.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>INTC at 77 3/8 has a pattern
very similar to AO.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It’s all time
high was at 89 ½ on 9/3/99 then it fell to low of 65 on 10/19/99.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>From there it formed its current STUTC
and gapped up breaking out of the STDTC Friday.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The Tema BW, Qstick should give a buy
signal soon.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The stock fundamentals
are good and the chip industry fundamentals have finally turned positive.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’ll open a position Monday with an
initial target at 89, but if we get a strong up move, I’d expect that target to
be broken.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’ll set the stop just
under the STUTC at 69 3/4</SPAN></P>

I have not been able to download since noon today, Saturday. Have been using
the 7.0 update for a couple of weeks. Thanks for letting me know it wasn't
