1. The posting was querying some very sloppy grammar.
2. The policy statement also suffers from some sloppy grammar.
3. Notwithstanding the Equis' disclaimer, they could probably be exposed to
legal problems if they were not Y2K compliant and continued to sell new
versions of their software. Happily, Equis is not falling into this trap.
I know of a software house that has all policy statements, all
advertisements including those for employment, and all public statements
cleared by their tech writing group before they are issued.
Unfortunately too many of our schools don't teach grammar and clear writing
anymore.
