Outlook Express has a Mime option that can be turned off or on.
As a BBS operator an e-mail reader (over 300/day) mime just gets in
the way of "doing". You'll find at this time (in 2-5 years mime
encoding may be standard), that only newbies use mime. Real / serious
comments come in un encoded.
