My suggestion is to manually create a new security (say..DJI) in the 
Downloader and manually type in the first days data in the correct fields. 
Then in your spreadsheet file which holds the data...copy the data then 
paste to the Downloader file.
If you need to I can supply you with the DOW and SP500 Metastock data files 
back about 5 years.
