Al,
It's no problem at all. There is a Metastock update program. All you
have to do to set it up for automatic updating of your stocks is to enter
the directory where your Metastock files are located. I have all my files
in subdirectories under C:\Data\MetaStock\. All I had to do was to put that
in the program with 100, 100 after the directory and it updates all the
MetaStock subdirectories under that directory every time I down load. I
don't remember why I had to put the 100, 100 after it. I think it had
something to do with how my volume data was setup. It's probably in the
help files .
I still use the MS downloader to sort, add and delete stocks from my
subdirectories and quotes plus automatically plugs in the data. If you are
adding a new stock, when you get done you can manually go to the QP
Metastock update program and have it update that individual directory.
