In order to get the Downloader to update properly, I
had to move all my data subfolders from
c:\mspro\data1, ..\data2 etc. to c:\mspro\xdata\data1
etc. where \xdata is empty. This solved the updating
problem but created another problem: the layouts do
not work anymore.
The subfolder c:\mspro\MSLAYOUT contains 10 *.msl
files (the layout files.) Now when I press "Ctrl-L"
from a chart, though I see the list of 10 possible
layouts in the dialog, when I doubleclick one of them,
I get an error message: "No such directory."
This is natural, since the Layouts do not know that
the files which were in c:\mspro\data1 are now in
c:\mspro\xdata\data1. What change can I make in a in
some config file so that all the layout files will be
pointing to the right files. (Please don't tell me to
redo all the layouts.)
