Walter,
I use Norton Anti Virus 5.0 with auto protect enabled. It caught happy99 as
it was downloaded from the server. I appreciate the immediacy which it
provides. About 6 months ago I was waiting for a program from a friend and
when I received a second note from him with an attachment, I ran our friend
happy99. I was fortunate that I only sent 3 messages before I sent a bcc to
myself and discovered the infection. No harm done, I was able to disinfect
and contact the people I had sent it to, but I now appreciate the continual
scan from NAV 5.0 (4.0 will not detect the non-viruses such as happy99)
especially with the number of attachments I receive.
Best,
Barry
